     Sara Edi Boyd, ASLA
Sara Edi graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Landscape Architecture in 1989.  She also has degrees in English and a Master's degree in Education both from Clemson University.  This emphasis on education, has influenced all her projects and they all have an educational component.

She has twenty years of experience managing a design/environmental office.  Sara Edi has provided guidance on a variety of projects to design and build parks, identify habitat, trail alignment, and masterplanning for bicycle and pedestrian trail systems, pubic process facilitation, and perform design and construction management services to get projects installed in a sensitive and successful manner. She is an expert NEPA permitting expert, and has a process for working with regulatory agencies and stakeholders to ensure that her projects proceed smoothly.

She has developed a unique approach to design that achieves the design goals while creating designs that provide habitat, even in urban situations. All projects designed by Sara Edi consider the conditions of the specific site, the client’s needs and vision and the public acceptance of projects. Her built work has received national recognition for sensitively designed programs, with input from all special interest groups, the public, and the regulatory officials involved in approval.

Sara has experience in planning, design and performing construction management of parks and recreational facilities, multi-family housing, hotel site work, environmental permitting, masterplanning, and landscape design for residential projects as well. She paints landscapes and writes grants and books, and knits socks.

  Merle D Grimes, ASLA
Merle graduated from the University of Colorado in Greeley with degrees in Botany and Landscap Architecture.  He began his career with the Greenway Foundation in Denver, and helped the director begin the PATH Foundation in Atlanta to organize and set up the bicycle/pedestrian trails group to help create trails for citizens, and focusing on getting a world class trails system designed and built in Atlanta in time for the 1996 summer Olympic games.  Merle then was responsible for assisting in the design and construction for trails in Colorado, Georgia, California, Puerto Rico, and Kauai.  Unfortunately, in June, 2010, Merle died after a short illness from pancreatic cancer.

 Jeffrey Lormand, ASLA
Jeff graduated in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Horticulture/Design from Colorado State University in Ft. Collins, and in 1987 with a Masters in Landscape Architecture from the University of Arizona, in Tucson.  As a Landscape Architect for 24 years, Mr. Lormand has a deep understanding of the principles of landscape

architecture as they apply to the practical application of the field. This brevity of experience as a lead designer and

project manager for a wide variety of projects including residential (both single and multi-family), park, rest area

and commercial has given him an insight into how to successfully make design projects work.

Mr. Lormand is well versed in developing Context Sensitive Solutions on public works projects, including

streetscape design, aesthetics, and urban design treatments for a variety of projects. He has worked with both state and local clients to develop innovative solutions to difficult design problems by working both with the clients and the public to determine common ground and project requirements while working to build consensus on the divisive issues. He is also well versed in leading multi-disciplinary teams to achieve a successful project completion.
